Patients and RCPs can safely consider the Frequencer® as a preferred or primary method.

Dyskinesia: Treatment of infection episode with The Frequencer® V2x
Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia, also known as PCD, is a rare genetic condition resulting in the dysfunction of the cilia in the respiratory system. Cilia are responsible for clearing the airways of mucous that binds bacteria, dust and small particles that are inhaled.
At our Hospital (Montreal, Canada) we are successfully using the Frequencer® with our COVID-19 patients. Indeed, patients are able to produce an effective cough and thus get rid of secretions after using the Frequencer. We are satisfied with the positive results generated by the Frequencer® and we thank you very much for your support.
I am the Respiratory clinical coordinator for California Pacific Medical Center. I work at the California Campus which is the children's campus and we were fortunate enough to have the Frequencer Prototype in our possession for about a year. We utilized it in our NICUs, PICU and in our Pediatric Ward on patients of all ages from premature neonates to roughly five years of age.
Patient is a 32-year-old man with degenerative neuromuscular disease. The Patient has been ventilator dependent through much of his life. Despite his disabilities, he has completed high school and college. I have known the patient much of his life. Although, I am not his primary care physician; he comes to me for second opinions, which is the basis of this letter.
My son is 9 years old and was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 4. He has been using the Frequencer® since this past January 2019. Before using the Frequencer® for airway clearance, I would perform clapping chest physiotherapy 2-3 times per day for roughly 20 minutes per treatment. The time dedicated to administering the clapping therapy was about 1 hour daily.
I have had great success with the Frequencer® with several of my patients who have not responded well to the Vest Therapy. A few have continued to use Vest Therapy along with the Frequencer®. One of my neuromuscular disease patients had been having great difficulty raising sputum and was facing a tracheostomy intervention. Our last resort was to try the Frequencer®. Remarkably, use of the Frequencer® improved his condition so much that he no longer is a candidate for a tracheostomy!
Since using the Frequencer®, we noticed an increase in the amount of mucus collected in patients with significant difficulty expectorating due to lack of coughing strength, thickening of the mucus or for any other physiological reasons. The results were conclusive and allowed us to consider the cessation of clapping treatments for the majority of our patients.
I love the Frequencer! After a couple of treatments something seemed to "click" and now the sessions are very productive. It's so great to be able to "target" my problem lobes and not have to get squeezed and/or hit in order to do it!
I think the Frequencer is an amazing breakthrough in airway clearance and have found it extremely effective. I really feel that it is making a HUGE difference in my quality of life and health while waiting for my transplant, and at this point every little bit of help in that department is cause for celebration.
We used the Frequencer® in the treatment of a 17-year-old CF patient whose fev1 < 30%. She also had severe osteoporosis pain and was admitted primarily for this condition at the time. The Frequencer® enabled us to give her comprehensive chest physiotherapy without aggravating her osteoporotic pain.
A chest trauma patient with chest tubes, etc. who was on a ventilator at 100% oxygen and 15 cmH20 of PEEP - they were still not able to maintain his oxygen saturation. The doctor asked the staff to do CPT to try and clear his lungs, but did not expect him to last more than 2 or 3 days. The staff did not feel they could do manual CPT due to the patient's frailty and a risk of trauma to the patient. They found the Frequencer® and were immediately able to see that they were clearing his airways without further injuring him. Two weeks later he was still alive and able to have needed surgery. Needless to say, the staff became believers in the Frequencer®.
The benefits of this type of therapy are numerous. First, patients are pleased with the autonomy and their treatment are not constrained by the schedule of the intervener's availability or does not correspond to their period of more severe pulmonary congestion. The patient can treat themselves when he or she feels the most need. Second, patients verbalize the fact that they feel more air in their lungs.
I am loving the Frequencer®! Just as you predicted, after a couple of treatments something seemed to "click" and now the sessions are very productive. I am using the frequency at 47 and the volume at about 87%-92%, with 5 minutes on each section of lobe and huff coughs in between each section. Have I mentioned I love it? It's so great to be able to "target" my problem lobes and not have to get squeezed and/or hit in order to do it!
I first used the Frequencer® during a hospital stay and could feel right away what a huge difference it made in clearing my airways. After a week or so of using it regularly, I could actually take a deep breath, something I hadn't been able to do in years.
I am absolutely loving my Frequencer®. I have been using it for over a year now and it really has changed my life. Before getting the Frequencer® I was in and out of the hospital at least a few times a year and on and off antibiotics every few weeks. Nothing seemed to be working and I was growing more and more watching my lung function decline. Since getting the Frequencer® for my home, I haven't been in the hospital and have seen my lung function improve and stabilize. Over the last year, my overall quality of life has drastically improved, and I feel better than I have in a very long time.
